Needle Felting Workshop - Easter Bunnies and Chicks

In this workshop you will be introduced to basic needle felting technique and you will learn how to build up volume in order to create a 3D figurine.

Hanna Tuukkanen, a founder of Bless This Mess London, is running this workshop where you can learn how to needle felt and a make a gorgeous decoration to take home. This is a friendly and relaxing session held in the inspiring workshop space at ‘Made in Greenwich’. The shop is located in the centre of Greenwich and it is ideally situated within easy access to excellent transport links.

During the session you can make a small chick or if you wish to challenge yourself, a freestanding bunny. No previous experience is needed. Once you learn the basics you can work at your own pace and skill level. Maximum of 8 participants per session in order to allow enough time for one to one attention. The aim is for you to leave with a beautiful, individual piece of decoration and feel inspired to continue needle felting beyond this session.

All necessary material supplied as well as coffee, tea and biscuits. Just bring your enthusiasm. This workshop is suitable for all levels. Children 9+ are welcome under supervision of a paying adult.

About Bless This Mess

Hanna is a founder of Bless This Mess, a small Craft company specialised in wool crafts, based in Thames Side Studios in Woolwich. She has taught Arts and Crafts in schools, nurseries, after school clubs and workshops for more than 10 years. Hanna is originally from Finland but South East London has been her home since 2002. Nature, especially the Nordic wild forests, are Hanna’s main inspiration. Her felted creations often feature wildlife with animated, whimsical characteristics that exhibit warmth and humorous personalities.
