​Hello I’m Sanel and we are team mother and daughter, macrame makers at Moon and Star Creations. We started creating our first macrame pieces in September 2019 and ever since our passion has grown into a business venture and we are enjoying every moment of it. We wanted to be able to work from home and do the job we enjoy doing which is how we came across macrame. My mother has always been very creative and did a lot of sewing in the past and I am a performing arts/dance graduate who felt a bit lost after having children. Lockdown gave us the opportunity and confidence to create our Instagram page where we are able to display all of our creations and connect with other macrame artists. A year after we opened our Etsy shop. You can also find a selection of our products at Made in Greenwich. We enjoy making custom pieces as they feel so special and personal. The beauty of knotting is that the possibilities are endless! Some of our makes include plant hangers, wall hangings, lamp shades, bags, keyrings, favours and our very popular car charms. Our evil eye beaded car charms are our most popular, best selling item at the moment. We work very hard to create new and exciting pieces all year round. We are inspired by bohemian and scandi designs but also enjoy working with eclectic styles of colour and more traditional supplies.
